I want to leave the legacy of, like, you'd pick me for your team every time. You know, like, that teammates and coaches and fans, if they have a chance, would pick me for your team because I'm a good teammate, I work hard, I win however way possible, and I'm a good time too. So, you know, that's how I wanna be remembered. [x]

The bit right before this is also brutal.
ROG: When you close your eyes and you think back to the beginning, does it feel long and detailed or does it feel [snaps fingers] like it was quick like a click of the fingers? SAM: It doesn't necessarily...it just feels like it was my whole life. It feels...in the same way, if you were to say, "Like, you're thirty-one. Has it flown by?" Like that's what my soccer career has been. It's been thirty...it's been my whole life. It's all I can remember. All of my relationships are wrapped up in it. Um, it's like I don't know anything else, um, and I know that I will. And that I will be fine. And I'm so grateful. But it just feels like it's been so all-encompassing and that, I don't have...I don't know life any other way.
😭
